Hero died in the line of duty during a high speed chase. Taken too soon. Deputy Curtis Bartlett was a rising fitness star, military veteran, law enforcement officer, family man, and above all, a really good person.

He was killed last week when his cruiser collided with a tractor trailer while he was in pursuit of a suspect vehicle on Route 58 in Carroll County, Maryland, Virginia. The tractor-trailer had the green light and was only traveling approximately 25 mph. The Deputy’s vehicle was unable to avoid the tractor-trailer and struck the rear tandem. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was 32. R.I.P., Sir.
