Dear Sambag,

Boyfriend and I have been dating for 7 years. Although we’re in a loving relationship, he had mentioned that if he could push a button and become straight he would. I asked “even if it means we wouldn’t be together?”. He said yes because it would mean he’d be normal. “Wouldn’t you?” He asked. Maybe before we dated, but not now.

I’m feeling kind of hurt about it to be honest. I know it’s just a hypothetical and it doesn’t really mean anything but damn, it just doesn’t feel good to hear.

Do other gays feel this way?

Jaime
